Baluch - Pencil Case Design

Baluch pencil case design probably a Timuri from western Afghanistan with characteristically deep indigo and madder red enjoying border highlights in white as well as the elaborate surrounds of the three central quadrants as well as the other eight quadrants while leaving two untouched. It is almost conceited in its complexity with the weaver delighting in the insertion of the six lines of six gazelles or rams. The more it is studies the more complex it becomes and the more movement and energy it exudes. Is at least one hundred years old and possible more but has not been subject to much use or any oxidization of the wool.
