Baluch
A pleasing lattice mina khani design with a deep madder blue and indigo background with regular but minimal use of ivory wool to contain the rows of flowers. There is subtle and exceptional variation in the florettes that draws in the eye but is not revealed immediately. From the Khorassan province possibly Salar Khani tribe. The border design provides a pleasant subtle and complex contrast with guls being carefully bound by diagonal forms around a square that are connected at the top and bottom but not on the sides.
