Karabagh rug

Boteh strip with oddly flattened botehs that house an unusual possible animalform . The boteh stripes are separated by the S form representing dragons and snakes and the all seeing eye. The three repeating borders are simple, contrasting and well formed. Probably a village piece possibly made for commercial sale produced around eighty years ago. Mostly natural dyes with the green coming from the walnut sheath.
